A little about me |
I’m Laura & in May 2024 I returned to the UK after living in Belgium for 16 years.
I am a denim designer & product developer with over 20 years of experience & have worked on high street collections (M&S) as well as shown at two New York Fashion Weeks.
In 2015, while I was heading up men’s denim at Wrangler I accidentally started a brand of coconut products!
In 2017 I quit my job with Wrangler to freelance & spend some more time focusing on growing the brand.
All was going great until covid & Brexit hit at the same time!
Now I am back in the UK with the aim to rebuild the brand after losing most UK customers due to Brexit.
I am based on the Northumberland coast, where I have never lived before! You can mostly find me on the beach giving pilates & yogalates sessions (I do that too!) or walking the dog! All while trying to find my tribe in this remote area!
I am passionate about transparent supply chains, sustainability, ethical production, circularity, inclusivity & trying to make this world a generally kinder place to be.
One day I hope to spend more time in Sri Lanka, hopefully having my own sourcing office there.
I’m here to meet like minded souls, enjoy the community, & hopefully learn some things along the way!

I'd love to connect with |
I’d love to connect with people who are passionate about life & what they do. Who are open to seeing the other side of the coin as well as the bigger picture, but also live life on their own terms.
