A little about me |
Previously nomadic, I’ve now established myseld in London.
My background didn’t follow a linear path. I studied Translation focused on Economics and Law, worked in the care sector as a careworker, studied permaculture for nearly 7y and then photography, ran a venue hire business in London and now I’m full-time working with nature and building community resilience.
I founded From Seed this year after years of preparing, self-doubting, dreaming and imagining. From Seed embodies everything I am and everything I hope to be.
My business focuses on serving underserved communities and this means both people and planet with no hirearchy. It is my playground to see if we can indeed create a fairer more equitable world that isn’t built on profiting from loss.
It may sound young and idealistic. I’m just starting afterall. However, over the past 2y I’ve successfully created a community that looks after each other and nature in London. This along with having participated in other community built initiatives gives me hope that it can be done.
I find it hard to switch off. My work feels very purposeful. When in London: I love costume parties, galleries, visiting parks/gardens, seeing friends, arts and crafts, circus arts (poi), dancing, climbing and so on. When outside of London: I love traveling to see family and friends, horse riding, being in nature, camping, hiking. I generally like to be busy, learn something new, read, grow in some way (mental, physical or emotional).
