My passion is for creating, I have always drawn, painted, crafted my way through life, and found an innate love for anything artistic from a very young age and studied design at university. I hid my work for a long time, and was a bit of a perfectionist, only sharing art I was 100% happy with, the last two years has taken off, I was furloughed from my full time marketing job and launched Bex Create, where I shared a lot more and developed an artistic brand. I wanted to make beautiful and bespoke art more affordable, and create more art but create less waste. Which led me to developing eco friendly products focused on animals and nature, bringing the outside into the home.

My art is currently very focused on animals, which have always been a big part of my life, I grew up learning about and horse riding at a charity run stables, teaching equestrian care at a YMCA in America, working at a carriage driving farm and racing stables in Australia, and volunteering at small holding and cattle farm. My current line of work is as a email marketer in a racing company, and although I love being in an environment I am passionate about every day I am passionate about finding more flexibly in my work and eventually running Bex Create as a freelances.  

This is the year I want to work on developing my brand and finding my focus… As my other love is travel! It gives me life to experience new places, immerse myself in new cultures, explore the stunning world we live in and see the natural wonders of the world. During the course of this year I am working towards merging the two passions together, which is my main goal for 2022.

I am a very social person, enjoy meeting likeminded and passionate people which is one of the main reasons I joined the club. I feel you can learn so much from others and yourself by stepping out of your comfort zone and speaking to everyone, finding out their journey and really listening.

As much as I am an extrovert, I need down time just as much, and believe it is important to prioritise self care, as if your glass is half empty you can’t give your full true self to someone else. Therefore, I find peace and reflection in yoga, exercise, meditation, hiking and reading. I like getting outdoors when I can and being amongst nature.
