Hello lovely person! I’m Kate founder of Eat Your Words! Eat Your Words was born out of confusion whilst I was studying for my Marketing degree. To toot my own horn, I was really good at Marketing but something was off. The course was constantly prepping us for this hotshot agency, the bro-marketing, soul-killing kind of marketing. And as a country-bumpkin whose parents own a small business, somehow it wasn’t floating my boat per se. The word marketing has some nasty associations. Wall-street-esque men in suits all plotting to manipulate the public into buying something that isn’t nearly as good as it claims to be. Even as a marketer I have the same image. And it’s why my university days were 3-years of conflict and confusion about my career.
